• About the Project

YouTHink is an international project that aims to develop the critical thinking and media literacy skills of young people aged 14-19, while strengthening their social responsibility and ability to participate actively in today’s information society. The project also provides methodological tools and training for professionals working with young people to address the challenges of modern media and information dissemination.

The project focuses on empowering young people to identify disinformation, lies and propaganda, to use digital technologies effectively and to acquire practical skills for responsible media content creation. This initiative is a response to the increasing number of cases where the impact of social media and technology is affecting young people’s ability to analyse information and make informed decisions.

The international project YouTHink (Media and Information Literacy for Youth) is funded by the Erasmus+ Youth Cooperation Programme. The project is implemented by partners from Lithuania, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland. The project will organise a range of activities to both address young people’s needs on media literacy and to disseminate them, develop training materials, actively engage with the project target groups, pilot trainings and dissemination of the project, with the aim of achieving a lasting impact on both young people and the professionals working with them.
