• About the Project

    YouTHink is an international project that aims to develop critical thinking and media literacy skills among youth aged 14–19, while strengthening their social responsibility and ability to actively participate in today’s information society. The project also provides methodological tools and training for youth workers and educators to help them address the challenges of modern media and information dissemination.

    The project focuses on empowering young people to identify disinformation, misinformation, and propaganda, use digital technologies effectively, and acquire practical skills for responsible media content creation. This initiative responds to the growing impact of social media and technology on young people’s ability to critically analyze information and make informed decisions.

    The international project YouTHink: Media and Information Literacy for Youth is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (Youth Cooperation). It is implemented by partners from Lithuania, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, and Switzerland. The project carries out a range of activities designed to address media literacy needs, develop training materials, engage target groups, pilot educational modules, and ensure broad dissemination—aiming to create a lasting impact on both young people and the professionals who support them.
